The Eugenie was proudly named to evoke an historic event in Egypt's recent past: the grand opening of the Suez Canal in 1869, attended by the crown heads of Europe including the Empress Eugenie of France. The completion of the Suez Canal marked Egypt’s passage into modernity, and a new era of international trade and interaction. Likewise the Eugenie, the first ship to sail Lake Nasser, launched a new era of tourism, offering travelers fresh vistas of Egypt’s natural beauty and archeological treasures. Lake Nasser extended the boundaries of Egypt’s touristic possibilities, while the Eugenie reminds us of this ancient country’s endless capacity for renewal.

The M.S. Eugenie was constructed in 1993 in the style of a turn-of-the-century Nile steamship. It is 74 meters long, with just 52 cabins for maximal comfort, and two luxurious suites. Each cabin has an ensuite bathroom with shower, washbasin, w.c. and hairdryer.
The Eugenie’s facilities include a sauna, steam bath, exercise equipment, sun decks, a swimming pool, air-conditioning and state-of-the-art water filtration systems.

Itinerario
Itinerario A :4 Days / 3 Nights Aswan - Abu Simbel

Day 1: Arrive Aswan
Meet and great by our travel REP upon your arrival at Aswan Airport or train terminal. Then you will be transferred to embark your Lake Nasser Cruise boat. Lunch meal is served on board followed by a guided tour to visit Kalabsha Temple, the Kiosk of Kertassi and Beit El Wali. Return to the cruise for free time at leisure and afternoon tea is served in the lounge. Dinner meal and overnight stay on board.

Day 2: Wadi El Seboua - Amada
Early sailing to Wadi El Seboua while having your breakfast. Enjoy a cocktail while passing the Tropic of Cancer. Lunch, then proceed to visit Wadi El Seboua Temple, the Temple of Meharakka and the Temple of Dakka. Return to the boat to sail to Amada. Dinner meal and overnight stay on board.

Day 3: Kasr Ibrim / Abu Simbel
Enjoy a relaxing tasty breakfast followed by a guided tour to visit the Temples of Amada and Derr and the Tomb of Penout. back to the cruise. Start sailing to Kasr Ibrim. Visit the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim via the ship's sundeck, as entrance to the site is not allowed. Continue sailing to Abu Simbel. Lunch is served a board followed by a guided tour to famous Temples of Abu Simbel. In the evening, optional tour to attend the Sound and Light show at Abu Simbel ( extra charge). Return to the ship for a candlelight dinner. Overnight stay on board.

Day 4: Disembarkation
Disembark the ship after breakfast.
Itinerario B :5 Days / 4 Nights Abu Simbel - Aswan

Day 1: Arrive Abu Simbel
Meet and assist by our travel REP upon arrival at Abu Simbel airport / hotels and transfer to board your Lake Cruise. Lunch is served on board before paying a visit to the Temples of Abu Simbel. Return to the cruise for dinner and overnight stay on board the boat.

Day 2: Abu Simbel - Kasr Ibrim
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast with free time on board. Lunch meal will be served during sailing to Kasr Ibrim. In arrival, a tour of the Citadel of Kasr Ibrim will be conducted from the ship's sundeck, as entrance to the site is not allowed. Dinner is served and overnight stay on board.

Day 3: Amada - Wadi El Seboua
Early sailing to Amada. Enjoy a guided tour to visit the Temples of Amada and Derr and the Tomb of Penout. Return to the cruise for lunch during sailing to Wadi El Seboua. in arrival, visit the Temple of Dakka and the Temple of Meharakka. Dinner is served and overnight stay on board.

Day 4: Aswan sightseeing
Sail to Aswan and enjoy a cocktail while crossing of the Tropic of Cancer. Lunch is served on board. Upon arrival in Aswan, visit the Kalabsha Temple, Beit El Wali, and the Kiosk of Kertassi. Return to the ship for dinner. Overnight on board.

Day 5: Departure
Disembark the cruise after breakfast.
